Organic Mulberry Leaves

Mulberry leaves are famous for having many useful properties. It is a plant that has been used since ancient times for traditional medicine. Research revealed that mulberry leaves contain DNJ(1-deoxynojirimycin), and are effective in reducing blood sugar levels and preventing diabetes by inhibiting α-glucosidase activity. Joint research between our company, the Shimane Institute for Industrial Technology, and the Faculty of Medicine at Shimane University also discovered that our leaves have Q3MG (Quercetin 3-(6-malonyglucoside)). Q3MG is effective in preventing arteriosclerosis and oxidation of LDL cholesterol. The content of Q3MG in our mulberry leaves is higher than that of mulberry leaves elsewhere. Our mulberry is carefully grown in our own JAS (Japan Agriculture Standards) certified fields to ensure we have the highest quality raw materials for all our mulberry products.
